It is with great sadness we announce death of Margaret Wanjiru Muriu (Wadiki) of Lanet Umoja 2 which occurred in Bristol UK on Tuesday 31st May 2022. Wife to the late Francis Muriu. Mother to Dickson Waweru (Diki) and Marie Berry (Kamary) both of UK. Daughter to Isaac Waweru and Mary Nyambura (both deceased). Sister to Monica Wambui Mcdowall (UK), Susan Wacuka (German), Sammy Karenju KK (Kenya) among others. Mother in law to Nyambura Wainaina, Paul Berry and Zipphorah Wangari. Grandmother to Humphrey, Angel, Muriu, Wainaina, TJ, Ciru and Prince. Great grandmother to Dwayne.

The cortege will leave Woodford Green Funeral Home on Wednesday 13th July 2022 for Church service which will be held at Revival Church Manor Park, 500 High Street North E12 6QN at at 1.00 pm. This will be followed by Funeral service at Manor Park Cementry Serbet Road at 3pm on the same day. The family needs your support financially and spiritually.

DEATH ANNOUNCEMENT OF LATE HENRY JOHN WARNER IN UK

It is with our deepest sorrow and heartfelt regret to inform you of the sudden demise, of our beloved dad, Henry John Warner (Ian). He passed away late hours of Sunday 19th June 2022, after a short illness.

He was a loving husband to the late Rachel Wakiiya Warner (Cucu wa Kiongo, Eltham) and a wonderful father to 10 children: Karen Wambui (Glasgow), Alice Wanjiru, Margaret Wajine (Kenya), Janet, Duncan Karanja, Julie Njoki (Kenya) ), Douglas Kiongo, Catherine Njambi, Pamela and Donald Warner.

He leaves behind many grandchildren and great grandchildren who cherished every moment spent with their Guka.

We wish to inform you that our Mother, Cucu, aunt and friend was promoted to glory on Saturday 11th June 2022 at 12.00 noon while undergoing treatment at the ICU Murang’a Level 5 hospital where she had been admitted for one week. Mother of George Mwirigi Kamau and Stanley Wakaba James among others. We thank God and celebrate her long life. The funeral has tentatively been set for Saturday 18th June 2022.
This group has been opened for ease of communication to enable us give her a befitting send off. We will be holding physical meetings at *Blue Springs Hotel along Thika Road* starting Monday 13/6/2021 at 6.00 pm.

It is with great sadness to announce the passing away of the Late Tirus Chege (Ithe wa Njambi) of New Hope Orphans Children’s Home in Uplands, Kenya. Husband to Anne Chege. Many Kenyans in UK and USA know the couple. Tirus passed away on Sunday 29th May 2022 after a heart attack.
There is tears everywhere in and outside this orphan home because most of the children in this home referred to him as their father even those who have left the home and are now married. Tirus was a father to many apart from his four children.
Tirus will be laid to rest on Saturday 4th June 2022 in New Hope Orphan Children’s Home in Uplands, Kenya.

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the untimely demise of the Late Duncan Lee Njeru which occurred in the UK on Monday 2nd May 2022.
Son to John Mutema and Anne Kimeria. Husband to Peris Wangeci. Father to Sinead Wangui and Tabby Wangui. Brother to Maureen Wanjiru (UK) and Hajila Njenga (USA). Uncle to Owen Kimeria, (UK). He was a loving cousin and nephew to many.
GONE FROM OUR SIGHT, BUT NEVER FROM OUR HEARTS 
Dear family & friends, may I first take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support & more importantly patience with the process.
Duncan’s postmortem was carried out on the 26th May 2022. The coroner has now issued an interim death certificate which now allows us to give him a send off and put him in a resting place.
Duncan’s burial will be held on the 9th of June 2022 at the: Parndon Wood Cemetry & Crematorium,

A KENYAN MAN HAS PASSED AWAY THROUGH AN ACCIDENT IN LONDON

It is with deepest sorrow to inform you of the death of our beloved brother Mato aka Rafiq who is a father to 3 lovely children.
Mato set out to go to work on good Friday but unfortunately he was accidentally hit by a bus, he was airlifted to Royal London hospital in a critical condition which left him fighting for his life.
Unfortunately he was confirmed dead on the 19th April 2022.

A Kenyan cyclist, 50, dies in hospital days after being hit by a North London bus

A cyclist has died in hospital five days after being hit by a bus in a midnight crash over Bank Holiday weekend. Emergency services rushed to the scene in Seven Sisters Road, N4, shortly before 12.30am on last Saturday (April 16).
Paramedics found a cyclist – who has now been name as 50-year-old Abrajah Rafiq – seriously injured on the busy main road, which runs along the border between the London Boroughs of Hackney, Haringey and Islington. Enquiries established that the man had been hit by a 476 bus, which was out of service and so was not carrying any passengers at the time.
He was rushed to hospital by paramedics, where he remained in critical condition over the past week. The Metropolitan Police confirmed today (Thursday, April 21) that he has died as a result of his injuries.
A spokesperson for the force told MyLondon : “Officers were called by London Ambulance Service to Seven Sisters Road, N4, on Saturday, April 16, shortly before 12.30am to reports of a collision involving a bus and a cyclist. Officers attended, and a 50-year-old male cyclist was found seriously injured. He was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to hospital, where he died in hospital on Thursday, April 21 as result of his injuries.
“He has been named as Abrajah Rafiq, from Stamford Hill (N16). His family has been informed. The investigation is being led by detectives at the Met’s serious collision investigation unit. Anyone with information is being asked to call 0208 246 9820.”
The driver of the bus, which is operated by Go Ahead London, did not sustain any injuries. The 476 route runs between Northumberland Park and King’s Cross Station via Seven Sisters, Stoke Newington and Angel.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson confirmed: “We were called at 12.28am on Saturday April 16 to reports of a road traffic collision on Seven Sisters Road, Finsbury Park. We sent an incident response officer, an ambulance crew, a paramedic in a car, and London’s Air Ambulance by road.
 “We treated a man at the scene, and took him to a major trauma centre. No arrests have been made in connection with the tragic incident.” Go Ahead London has been contacted for comment. – mylondon news
